» Pilates is a form of strength and flexibility training with emphasis on the core. It was developed by Joseph Pilates back in the 1920's and continues today to be recognized as one of the most effective methods of core training worldwide. The pilates method can challenge the most highly trained athlete and still be accessible to those who are deconditioned. Pilates is also helpful in the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, as well as correcting muscular imbalances or weakness. At FitLife, we offer pilates training in a private state of the art studio with individual attention to the client's needs and abilities. One hour sessions available in private, semi-private and small group classes.
About the Trainer: Anne Jeronis
» Anne's passion for pilates began almost 10 years ago. She is a BASI certified instructor who brings knowledge of all the pilates apparatus to FitLife. Anne is also an ACE certified fitness instructor who has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years, teaching all types of group exercise classes. She has appeared in several instructor videos and is a former Reebok National Champion in the Mid Atlantic Region.
